UP/NY and Philadelphia in conjunction with Healthcare NOW and
Physicians for a National Health Plan are planning a protest to demand
REAL national health care reform by demanding a single-payer insurance
system. It would offer excellent services to everyone from cradle to
grave. It would be administered by the government, be paid for by taxes
instead of premiums and would cover everything from basic care to
treatment for AIDS and cancer. Dental, mental health and vision would
be a part of it as well.
