Tune-in Monday, January 28th, from 11am to noon for a tribute to Bob
Kohler's life of activism on radio station WBAI/NY broadcasting at 99.5
FM. Bob Kohler was a native New Yorker with a long history of activism
in the civil rights, gay, antiwar and AIDS movements. Kohler was also
an observer of the 1969 Stonewall rebellion which was led by a group of
street youth. Bob died in December at the age of 81 years old. The show
will include interviews done with Kohler, as well as interviews about
Kohler's life with: David Carter, author of Stonewall: The Riot That
Sparked the Gay Revolution, Tommy Lanigan-Schmidt, friend and former
Stonewall street youth, and Emmaia Gelman, lesbian and AIDS activist.
