Kristin Richardson Jordan is here to discuss her candidacy for City Council with Out-FM's Stahimili Mapp. Kristin is an out Black queer woman running for the seat in the 9th district in Harlem.  She is a third generation Harlemite running on a self-described “radical platform” with the intent of disrupting the status quo on the campaign trail and in the city council. RWDSU, the Housing Works Union, Wins Election

The Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union (RWDSU), the union representing Housing Works workers, won the recent election with 85% of the workers voting in favor. This is another victory for workers during the COVID-19 epidemic. Kaitlin Abrams and Brian Grady from the Housing Work's union discuss with Out-FM's Naomi Brussel how they won their election to  represent the workers at the progressive non-profit. Housing Works is the largest provider of housing for people with HIV/AIDS in the US.
