Lying Rush Limbaugh Passes

Rush Limbaugh speaking with attendees at the 2019 Student Action Summit hosted by Turning Point USA (by Gage Skidmore)

Rush Limbaugh’s program is broadcast from 600 radio stations dotting the map of the US like a bad case of red measles, and reaches about 15 million people. Limbaugh was the most successful radio personality in terms of listeners and distribution. He has since the late 1980s peddled a brand of far right extremism and misinformation with a level of certainty that disarms the listeners. Limbaugh’s 3 hour tours of his mind, synchronized the thinking of millions of americans and laid the groundwork for a huge expansion of rightwing audiences and media outlets.

Joining to discuss Limbaugh’s legacy is Steve Rendall, co-author of “The Way Things Aren’t: Rush Limbaugh’s Reign of Error” which is a fact base response to Limbaugh’s bigoted book, “The Way Things Ought to Be.” Steve was also the director of research at the media activist group Fairness and Accuracy In Reporting, or FAIR for short. He recently wrote an article for FAIR.org titled, “Limbaugh Helped Create the Conservative Movement—and Paved the Road for Trump" This video can be viewed by clicking HERE
