Providing COVID-19 Vaccine for the World
Activists deliver "bones" of Covid dead to White House Chief
On Wed Sept 29th activists delivered a pile of bones to the home of White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain demanding the Biden administration dramatically increase Covid-19 vaccine production and transfer the know-hop to produce vaccines in the global south. The bones represent the millions of lives being lost globally to the pandemic as the US hords vaccines and know-how on how to produce the vaccines. On the same day a Harvard doctors held a protest outside the home of Moderna's CEO in which they also delivered a pile of bones symbolizing the lives lost to COVID-19 because of Moderna's greed. They were demanding the company share its vaccine production recipe with the world. That vaccine was massively helped by US government funds. We'll talk with James Krellenstein, one of the activists that organized the protest. His organization is organizing a petition demanding action from the Whitehouse at prep4all.org

In this segment we bring an interview by Walaa Alqaisiya of Haneen Maikey which came from a Decolonial Café Panel recorded in June 2021. In it they'll be discussing, some of the issues that pertain to the struggle in the Palestine in the context of settler colonialism. Haneen brings out some reflections from her work as alQaws leader, activist, and thinker. alQaws is Palestine's most established queer rights organization. alQaws stands for Sexual and Gender Diversity in Palestinian Society. Haneen Maikey is somebody who inspires many in Palestine and around the world.
