LGBTQ Youth & the Troubled Teens Industry

In the first half hour of the show, Pauline Park will speak with Juan Rivas, a trans man, and Gabriel Joseph González, an openly gay Puerto Rican who spent years in the "troubled teen" industry and is now an activist working with colleagues in the We Warned Them campaign that he co-founded to bring the industry under scrutiny and regulation and end its abuse of children and adolescents — especially LGBTQ youth.

Interview conducted by Peter Jonas.
