In the past year, educators and students all over the U.S. have been faced with repression of speech, particularly on the issue of the Israeli-US genocide of Palestinians in Gaza and the occupied West Bank of the Jordan River. Out-FM's Pauline Park and Naomi Brussel interviewed educators Gav Meiri and Naomi Braine about the attacks on faculty and students at Brooklyn College and other sectors of the City University of New York (CUNY). Gav Meiri of Educators for Palestine discusses the situation of CUNY faculty and students who support Palestine. Naomi Braine, a sociology professor at Brooklyn College, discusses her role as a supporter of both Palestinian rights and student rights.
