Trans Attorney and Activist Dean Spade

Dean Spade on the Meaning of Biden's Moves on LGBTQ Inclusion

Dean Spade discusses the Biden Administration on the problems with trans military inclusion, and the ways he is concerned that Biden's pro-war, pro-oil and gas industry appointments signal many bad things to come for queer and trans people (and all people and animals and plants on Earth), despite nods to LGBT inclusion. Dean Spade will appear during the live broadcast.

Sophie, Trans Musician Dies in Accident

The BBC carried a report that Sophie, the electronic music performer died on Saturday at 4am in Athens. Her label, Transgressive, wrote "Sophie was a pioneer of a new sound, one of the most influential artists in the last decade,".

A statement from Sophie's record label, explained how the "terrible accident" had occurred.

"True to her spirituality she had climbed up to watch the full moon and slipped and fell". "She will always be here with us."

Sophie was also known as a transgender icon, after affirming their identity in the 2017 video for It's Okay To Cry.

The musician, who preferred not to use gendered pronouns, told Billboard that being trans meant "taking control to bring your body more in line with your soul and spirit so the two aren't fighting against each other and struggling to survive".

We go out with "It's Okay to Cry."
