In Minneapolis, as Derek Chauvin's trial for the murder of George Floyd wraps up and as community resistance grows in the suburb of Brooklyn Center in response to the outrageous murder of Daunte Wright, we speak to two queer activists on the ground: Jae Yates, a Black trans organizer, and Jess Sundin, a white lesbian organizer -- both with Twin Cities Coalition for Justice 4 Jamar Clark (TCC4J), a Black man murdered by police in 2015. Excerpts from Outright Action International's panel of lesbians who participated in the 1995 United Nations Women's Conference in Beijing. They are stars in South African lesbian Beverley Ditsie's documentary film Lesbians Free Everyone. Ditsie used footage and photos from the conference and the reminiscences of these women to explore the historical impact they made. Bringing issues of Lesbian liberation to this international forum is part of their continuing campaign against lesbian invisibility. Interview subjects include:

Beverley Ditsie, Rebeca Sevilla, Phyll Opoku-Gyimah, Julie Dorf, Jessica Stern, and Gro Lindstad.
