Voices from the Queer Liberation March

On Sunday, June 30, thousands of LGBTQ community members and allies marched in the Queer Liberation March in Manhattan in a non-corporate and police-free alternative to the huge corporate marketing event known as the NYC LGBT Pride March.  Pauline Park and John Riley interview street activists there who tell us why they came to this march and not the corporate march.

After the Queer Liberation March reached the Battery, Pauline Park interviewed Cara of Asians for Palestine NYC (A4PalestineNYC) for Out-FM and she explained the group's origins and aims as more and more Asians outraged by the Gaza genocide stand in solidarity with Palestinians living — and dying — under a genocidal occupation regime.
