On Sunday, June 26th The Reclaim Pride Coalition (RPC) organized the 4th annual Queer Liberation March which was titled the Queer Liberation March for Trans and BIPOC Freedom, Reproductive Justice, and Bodily Autonomy. The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, Asexual, Two-Spirit Plus (LGBTQIA2S+) people’s march started at Foley Square and ended in Washington Square Park.
The Reclaim Pride Coalition march of 40,000, comes after the release of the Supreme Court ruling repealing Roe v Wade.
Chinyere Ezie from Center for Constitutional Rights
Also Out-FM co-host Naomi Brussel interviews Chinyere Ezie, Senior Staff Attorney at the Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR) and discusses the multiple recent legal attacks on Queer rights and the suppression of educators speech about LGBTIQ people. Chinyere Ezie describes the role of CCR and other organizations in countering these heterosexist campaigns.

The Legacy of Left LGBT Activist Urvashi Vaid
Out-FM honors the life and legacy of Urvashi Vaid, activist, lawyer,and political strategist, who died May 14 , 2022. In interviews with colleagues and friends Andrea Ritchie, Dean Spade and Rinku Sen they describe Urvashi's work for redistribution of private and corporate wealth. They recall her encouragement of and influence on them and on the movements they have helped to develop. We will also air audio from one of her key public speeches.
