Law professor Arthur Leonard discusses a current  US Supreme Court case in which a Catholic child welfare agency claims the  religious right to discrimInate against same-sex couples applying to be foster parents. He also analyses how the present membership of the Supreme Court may affect the struggle for LGBTIQ rights.

LGBT Kwanzaa Community of NYC

Stahimili Mapp will be in discussion with Imani Rashid and Cassandra Grant of the LGBT Kwanzaa Community of NYC. They will be talking about the 43 Annual Community Kwanzaa Celebration to be held virtually this year, on Dec. 26th, the first day of Kwanzaa. They will cover the inception and development of this LGBT annual event and also give a sneak peak of this year’s program.

A group called "New Day Pacifica”, is attempting to run another referendum to ram through changes to Pacifica rules to end effective community involvement in the Pacifica Network. Learn from activists, organizers and board members about the threat Pacifica faces and why we need to oppose it. This includes late-breaking information about the attempt to put Pacifica in receivership. This is a 2-hour special which is pre-empting Out-FM on 12/8/29.
